Israel attacked Europe

Israeli units attacked the ships of the pacifist Flotilla in international waters. The fleet intended to force the naval blockade on Gaza, in order to bring humanitarian aid. There was more than 9 dead and 40 injured.
A fleet of activists/pacifists from more than forty European nations was tired of embargo that has starved Palestinians for three years after operation “Cast Lead”. They were sailing in international waters bound for the port of Haifa, to carry food, health goods, medicines, wheelchairs and building materials to the port of Ashdod, where dozens of correspondents from all over the world were waiting for them.
Israeli Navy swooped on the ships with helicopters and warships, diverting them to the port of Haifa, not respecting international law and human rights at all.
According to Israeli Authorities the passengers attacked their marines, but the videos shot by reporters on the boat soon denied this statement. The “weapons” that justified the order to open fire on the civilians of Flotilla were slings, marbles, chairs, and later a knife and a bar were found.
UN severely condemned the attack.
“State terrorism”, the president of Palestinian national authority Abu Mazen said.
“A barbarous deed”, “a State murder”, Turkish foreign minister stated.
Lebanese premier talked about an Israeli “criminal aggression” against Freedom Flotilla.
European Union condemned the use of violence of Israel, after the emergency meeting of ambassadors of EU in Bruxelles.
Russia talked about “huge violations of international law” and condemned the accident, expressing concern. “The situation has to be clarified”.
“The killing of members of this humanitarian mission, which includes also women, is brutal, inhumane and constitutes an evident violation of international law”, Pakistani foreign minister said.
Jordan: “Preying on civilians is a hateful crime, that we severely condemn. Israel has no justifications”.
According to Hezbollah Israeli attack against the fleet of humanitarian aid for Gaza was a “premeditated crime against mankind” and the intervention of international community is needed.
For years the International Committee of the Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations have denounced the repeated violations of human rights, besides war crimes, but until now the attention has always been moved somewhere else.
From European world condemnations arrive, whereas USA are trying to mitigate the affair, because of the well-known relations with their “friend” State. In Italy Berlusconi condemned the event and asked for clarifications, whereas under-secretary of Foreign Affairs stated with a deplorable sloppiness: “I haven’t sufficient elements to understand what happened yet, but the situation had been known for days. This event can be considered an intentional provocation. It had a precise, political aim. We can discuss the Israeli reaction, but thinking that all could happen without a reaction of some kind was a dilettantish interpretation of who provoked this event. I think that in so tricky war operations, these spectacular actions can only worsen the situation and make the dialogue more impracticable. It seems to me that this is an intentional provocation to see how much Israel reacts. Then, about Israeli reaction, I don’t give my opinion because I don’t know the facts yet, but hoping that Israel didn’t react was an illusion. The principle of Israeli reprisal is known all over the world”.
Although there is partially showed link between IHH (the humanitarian organization that set the shipping of Freedom Flotilla) and Hamas, this can’t justify the indiscriminate attack of civilians. This kind of situations, which during the Second World War “justified” the entry of US into the war, are widely worrying not only Europe, damaging international relations with Israel. All are asking for justice and for the most severe sentence against Israel for the committed crimes, as it keeps on showing to be above the international law.
